House prices in Northern Ireland have continued to decline and have fallen more than any other region during the last 12 months.
According to ONS (office for national statistics) prices in Northern Ireland fell by 7.7% to £125,000. This compares to an average national rise across the whole of the UK of 1.9% in the year to February 2013.
The information contradicts a recent report by the Royal Institute for Chartered Surveyors which stated that its members were at their most positive since 2007 and with more surveyors saying that prices were rising between January and March 2013.
